Aaron Dallman

Aaron Dallman is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill (Go Heels) and holds a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy. He specializes in preschool-12th grade and specializes in autism, Down syndrome, developmental delays and cerebral palsy. He is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and is also a music therapist and an Implementation Science Trainee. Aaron’s favorite color is blue (Go Heels) so it only makes sense that he is a Carolina Panthers Fan. He enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, playing his piano and skydiving, but keep him away from snakes. Aaron also loves to sing and has even been in an opera! Aaron loves a good burrito while watching his favorite movie, The Lego Movie.

Amanda Carroll

Ms. Amanda is an Occupational Therapist with over 5 years of experience. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Amanda’s area of specialty include preschool age children and developmental delays. She is a member of AOTA Society for the Study of Occupation and looks forward to becoming a TRIPLE TARHEEL soon. Ms. Amanda loves anything green, and enjoys cooking, traveling, yoga, reading and gardening. This young lady runs half marathons but likes to relax with a nice pasta dish and watching her favorite movie, “The Birdcage.”

Ann Bullock

Ms. Ann is a graduate of Michigan State University and Wayne State University where she began her career as a speech language pathologist.  She has 14 years of experience working with children from preschool age through high school.  Her areas of expertise include autism, articulation/phonological disorders, swallowing disorders, Down syndrome and developmental delay.  She has also worked with adult populations. She is a member of ASHA and NCSLHA and is Vital Stim certified.   Ms. Ann loves fresh fruit and enjoys a nice orchid bouquet.  When she is not cheering for the Michigan State Spartans she loves traveling and arts and crafts.  This wife and mom of 3 boys is also bilingual----she speaks Polish!

Billy Fuller

Billy is a 2016 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  He is currently enrolled in the Communication Disorders program at North Carolina Central University.  Billy serves as the office assistant at SPOKEN-4 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC while he is working toward becoming a licensed speech language pathologist.  Billy and his wife reside in Greensboro with their three children.  When he is not working or attending class, Billy enjoys quality time with his family.  Billy has a passion for roller coasters, and has traveled to several states just to ride them with friends.

Brittany Clark

Ms. Brittany J. Clark is a twice over alumna from Hampton University where she obtained her Master’s of Arts and Bachelor’s of Arts in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders. She is a native of Paterson, New Jersey and has always had a drive to help others. She is currently a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.  As a Speech Language Pathologist of 5 years as of May 2017, her specialty areas include Autism Spectrum Disorders, Pediatric Feeding/ Dysphagia, Articulation/Phonological Disorders and Early Intervention. She has experience working with the pediatric population ranging from infants to school-aged children.

Naturally bleeding blue and white, Ms. Clark is a fan of the Hampton University Pirates and the Dallas Cowboys. She is the proud mom of a dog named Benjamin aka Benji, and enjoys traveling, cooking, dancing, eating, and sign language. 

Carla Purcella

Ms. Purcella is a native of Michigan, where she graduated from Macomb Community College in 2011. She has almost 5 years of experience as a licensed and certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She holds certification in CPR and Aquatic Therapy, and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.  Some of her professional experience has included the adult population, including short and long-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing.

A fan of the Detroit Tigers, Ms. Purcella has been married to her husband, Rick for 2 years and has a 5 year old stepson. She enjoys shopping, arts and crafts and traveling. She is the proud mom of two super-spoiled cats.

Chrystal Williams

Mrs. Williams is a graduate of North Carolina Central University and holds a Master’s of Education in Communication Disorders.  She also has a Bachelor of Arts from NCCU in English Literature.  Mrs. Williams has nearly 12 years of experience as a speech language pathologist and is a member of the American Speech language and Hearing Association, North Carolina Augmentative Communication Association, the National Black Association of Speech language and Hearing and the North Carolina Speech language and Hearing Association. She is certified as a Dementia Practitioner, a Dyslexia Therapist and is certified in Fiber Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing. Ms. Williams has been recognized by the National Association of Professional Women and has been featured twice in News-line Magazine for Speech language Pathologists & Audiologists.  Her areas of expertise include autism, articulation/phonological disorders, swallowing disorders, picture communication, augmentative communication, Down syndrome and developmental delay. She has experience working with all ages of children including infants, toddlers, preschool, school age (k-12) and adults (ages 21 and over).

A fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mrs. Williams is a wife of 11 years and a proud mom of two girls, ages 9 and 7. She enjoys domestic traveling, reading, shopping and arts and crafts. She enjoys a hot, cheesy pizza while watching her favorite movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

Emily Sykes

Ms. Sykes is a graduate of UNC Greensboro with a Bachelor of Arts in German as well as NC State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Ms. Sykes completed an internship at NC State where she began working on the Spoken-4 website. She loves using her creativity and passion for marketing to help expand our company. When she isn’t working hard on the website, she is working at the North Carolina Football Club full time. In addition to the PNC Arena Box Office selling tickets, and teaching children how to swim at the Alexander Family YMCA.

 

When she isn’t planning her next adventure to a foreign country, Ms. Sykes enjoys swimming, hanging out with her friends, cooking, baking, and watching her favorite sports teams, the Carolina Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, and NC State Wolfpack.

Erica Strong

Ms. Strong is a graduate of East Carolina University and holds a Master’s of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and a minor in Psychology.  She has 3 years of experience as a Speech language Pathologist and is a member of the American Speech language and Hearing Association.  Her specialty areas include autism, articulation/phonological disorders and developmental delay, with experience working with children ages birth to 5th grade as well as high school aged children in grades 9-12. 

Ms. Strong is a fan of the ECU Pirates and loves the movies Elf and Forrest Gump.  She is the proud mom of a dog named Zoe, and enjoys traveling, cooking, shopping and woodworking.

Gloria Smallwood

Ms. Gloria is the Business Manager for SPOKEN-4 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC.  She has over 10 years of experience in billing and business management.  She enjoys music, movies and spending time with family.  Ms. Gloria is very creative and crafty and her favorite color is blue. She is very active in her sorority where she frequently participates in community service.  She is the wonderful mother of a loving son.

Heather Michalak

Ms. Heather is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, where she received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.  She specializes in autism, preschool and school aged children.  She has experience with developmental delays, cerebral palsy and sensory impairment.  Ms. Heather is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the American College of Rheumatology.  She is CPR and BLS certified.  In the past, Ms. Heather received a group award for neurological research.  In her down time, Ms. Heather loves pink flowers and, of course, her favorite is heather.  She loves a good doughnut while watching the Washington Redskins of Despicable Me movies! This left handed therapist has two dogs at home and enjoys shopping, painting, playing guitar and cooking. 

Jermayn Williams

Jermayn currently serves as the Business Assistant for SPOKEN-4 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC.  He has over 3 years of experience in business and enjoys spending time with his family.  He is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoys traveling and watching movies.  His favorite movie is “A Low Down Dirty Shame.”

Josephine Williams

Ms. Williams is a native of Bertie County, NC. She graduated from Bertie High School and has over 10 years of experience in office management.  Currently she serves as the Office Manager for SPOKEN-4 COMMUNICATIONS.

In her personal time, she enjoys action movies, authentic Italian food and the latest fashion. She loves to dance, sing, travel, shop and host parties. A fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Ms. Williams is the wonderful mother of a loving son.

Julisa Colato

Julisa is the Medical Records Clerk for SPOKEN-4 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC.  A native of Los Angeles, California, she is a native Spanish speaker and also assists office staff and clinicians with communicating with our bilingual families and service providers. Julisa graduated from C.E.T. in Durham, NC in 2016 with a certificate in Medical Office Administration. In her leisure time, she spends time shopping with her daughter and watching movies.

Marcela Bueno

Ms. Bueno is a native of Columbia and moved to Durham, NC during high school. She is a graduate of Kestrel Heights School in Durham, NC and is currently the office assistant for SPOKEN-4 COMMUNICATIONS.  She holds a current CNA I license in NC and is currently attending nursing school to become a registered nurse. 

Ms. Bueno enjoys reading and arts and crafts in her personal time. Her favorite movie is Pearl Harbor and she enjoys Columbian Soccer. 

Sara "Niki" Jinwright

Sara Jinwright graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from Hampton University, with a minor in Spanish. Upon graduation, she worked as a one-on-one Behavioral Therapist in the public school system as well as a Speech Therapist in several different settings. Her experience ranges from private and parochial schools to four different public school districts with service delivery from ages 4-18. Most recently, Sara graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Master of Education degree in Communication Disorders with a specialization in Therapeutic Bilingualism as well as Assistive Technology for Multicultural Populations. Her experience includes evaluating and treating clients with Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Language Delays and Developmental Delays. Sara plans to continue to work towards her Certification in Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy for the Autistic population in the near future. Her commitment to her community is a high priority in her personal and professional life.

Susanne Rose

Ms. Susanne is a native of Germany and has over 15 years of experience in Occupational Therapy. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and has experience working with all ages, preschool through geriatrics.  She has experience with Down Syndrome, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, musculoskeletal disorders and sensory impairments.  She is the proud mom of two children and enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking and disc golf. 

Tabatha Moore

Ms. Tabatha is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and a 2016 graduate of North Carolina Central University where she obtained her Master’s in Education in Communication Disorders.  She is currently completing her Clinical Fellowship as a speech language pathologist.  Ms. Tabatha has advanced knowledge and clinical skill in articulation and language disorders.  She enjoys working with the infant/toddler and preschool population, but is also skilled working with elementary grade level children as well.  Ms. Tabatha enjoys traveling, cooking, shopping and good movies. When she isn’t working, Ms. Tabatha spends time with her extended family.

Tacoiya Walters

Ms. Walters is a graduate of East Carolina University and holds a Master’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.  She also attended UNC-Greensboro and has a Bachelor of Sciences in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Ms. Walters has 7 years of experience as a Speech language Pathologist and is a member of the American Speech language and Hearing Association and the National Black Association of Speech, Language and Hearing. 

Ms. Walters enjoys cooking, arts and crafts and shopping, and even made the time to self-teach playing the guitar! She enjoys relaxing with a good movie, her favorite being “The Wedding Singer.”

Tierre Ramsey

Tierre is a 2001 graduate of North Carolina Central University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences.  He is also a 2012 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Leadership.  Tierre currently serves as the Community Relations Liaison for SPOKEN-4 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC and brings more than 8 years of experience.  He is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and his favorite movie is “Castaway.” Tierre is the proud father of a son and daughter and enjoys cooking, traveling, hosting parties and sports.  An interesting fact about Tierre is that he is the middle child in his family and the first to go to college.

Tonya Young

Mrs. Young is a graduate of North Carolina Central University and holds Master’s of Education in Communication Disorders.  Having nearly 9 years of experience as a speech language pathologist, Mrs. Young specializes in articulation/phonological disorders, swallowing disorders/dysphagia, developmental delay and hearing loss.  She is skilled in working with children from preschool age to high school.  She is a certified member of ASHA and is also a member of NBASLH and NCSHLA.  Mrs. Young is a proud wife and mom of two sons and one daughter.  Her favorite color may be blue, which would explain why she is a huge fan of UNC basketball. She is also a fan of all things NCCU as well as a Pittsburgh Steeler fan! When she is not being a superb therapist, she enjoys a hot slice of pizza, the fresh smell of tulips and watching her favorite movie, “Love & Basketball.”  She enjoys traveling, watching movies and shopping, but keep her away from snakes! Mrs. Young also loves her quiet time alone to relax, but will run for cover at the sound of anything she thinks sounds ‘creepy’.

Tyler Evans

Ms. Tyler is a native of Durham, NC and attended North Carolina Central University.  She has Bachelor’s degrees in psychology and child development and received her Master’s of Education in Communication Disorders.  She has almost two years of experience as a speech language pathologist.  Ms. Tyler is bilingual in Spanish and English and specializes in articulation/phonological disorders, swallowing disorders and has experience working with children preschool age through fifth grade.  A member of the American Speech language Hearing Association, she enjoys cooking, traveling, reading and hosting social events.  Some of her advanced training and certifications include a seminar on feeding disorders that was completed on the campus of NCCU in Durham, NC.

Yolonda Hodges

Ms. Yolonda is a graduate of East Carolina University and Hampton University. She has 4 years of experience as a speech language pathologist. Her areas of specialty include autism, articulation/phonological disorders, developmental delays and sensory impairment.  She encourages caregiver participation while providing support and training for target skills to be reinforced in the home and childcare settings. She has experience with infants and toddlers and children who are preschool age to high school. Her advanced training and certification include:

Ms. Yolonda loves pasta and purple, but she is allergic to peanuts. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and working out in a Crossfit gym. She is very active in her church and enjoys a nice warm day in the sand at the nearest beach.
